After choosing the dress, the shoes, and every little detail, I couldn’t wait for the moment I’d finally get to show the man I love how beautiful I felt.

We shared our first look near the ferries we’ve taken so many times to visit each other, with the Puget Sound stretching out behind us and the beach at our feet. These are the places that shaped our story, brought us back to Washington, and now get to be part of the place we call home.

It was such a special, grounding moment just for us before the day fully began. It quieted the nerves, slowed everything down, and reminded us what it’s all about: the two of us.
