If you are not entirely satisfied with your service, please call and schedule a redo appointment. You must arrange an appointment to have your nails fixed within seven days for gel polish/dipping services and three days for all other services after your initial service date. We do not accept redo appointments after seven/three days of your initial services. We will re-do any service if you are unsatisfied with the quality provided, given that you tell us immediately after the services have been performed. As soon as you walk out the salon door, that means you have accepted and are happy with the services provided to you. We will charge you for the cost of any repairs or replacements that we have to endure because of damages that happened outside of our salon. For example, if your nails or the finish of your nails are damaged (they are broken, chipped or starting to lift ) we will charge you due to your own lack of care. The redo policy does not cover a change in service or color. PERSONAL ITEMS
HORTŪS is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or misplaced. any items left at the studio for more than 14 days will be donated to the good will. WALK INS + APPOINTMENTS
we always welcome walk-ins but encourage our guests to make an appointment so we can better accommodate scheduling needs and minimize wait time. we do require a valid credit card to hold your appointment and Please note appointments are not booked unless they are acknowledged and confirmed. cancellation policy
appointments for two or less guests require 24 hour advance notice for cancellation. 50% of total service cost will be charged for less than 24 hours notice and 100% of total cost for cancellations within 8 hours of a scheduled appointment or no shows. for parties of 3-4 will require a minimum of 48 hours for cancellation/changes, less than 48 hours, 50% of total cost will be charged and no shows/cancellation within 12 hours of a scheduled appointment(s), 100% of the total service cost. For parties of 4 guests or more will require minimum of 1 week for any changes or cancellation or the client will be responsible for 100% of the total cost of services for the group. We will require 50% deposit for group bookings. BOOKING + GROUP RESERVATION

In order to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere children are only permitted in the salon if they are being seen by one of our Nail Artisan. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, NO child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not want to compromise you and our other guests experience and kindly ask that you make your child care arrangements prior to your scheduled appointment. We do not have the facilities to care for children and will not provide child supervision. We cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. GIFT CERTIFICATES

Pets of any kind, other than service animals, are NOT allowed in the salon. The State Board of Cosmetology have specific Rules and Regulations stating cleanliness and sanitation, and we abide by these rules. In order to protect our clients that are more susceptible to allergens, NO animals of any kind are to be permitted in the salon at any time. Service dogs with the official “Service Animal” vests are the ONLY exception. Therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and/or companion dogs are not recognized as “Service Animals” according to The Washington State Human Rights Commission. we accept visa, master card, discover, american express and cash. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO:
- Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious
- Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area
- Anyone in ill health that we may suspect may be contagious, or we fear could be harmed by our service
- Anyone more than 10-15 minutes late for an appointment
- Anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to our nail technicians and other customers
GRATUITY
please kindly provide all gratuity in cash. the widely accepted minimum tip in the industry is 20%.
