The Maple House

Meet our friend Lisa!

Lisa started coming to The Maple House Church at the beginning of this summer and she has been a faithful and beloved part of our community ever since! We asked Lisa what The Maple House means to her. Her answer can be summed up in one word: community. She has found true life in Jesus through the love of his people.

God has redeemed Lisa and called her by name. She was baptized into Christ on the first day that she came to Maple House this summer. Since that day, God has given her a new apartment for a home, a community to worship in, and a way to serve people weekly.

In these pictures Lisa is wearing her "uniform" for Maple House. She cooks meals for our gatherings and for the homeless community of Searcy multiple times a week. She has been sharing the joy and love of Christ wherever she goes, out of the abundant grace given to her.

She has found life in Jesus through the love she has experienced from him. But as "it is more blessed to give than to receive," God has also transformed Lisa and made her a blessing to others.

Let us give praise and worship to the God who has worked through Maple House to redeem Lisa, call her by name, and make her an instrument of his peace.

Come out on Sundays at 11:30 and Wednesdays at 5:30 to experience Lisa's amazing cooking and worship the Lord together with the Maple House community.
