Crawling and climbing is fun and beneficial at any age! These activities help build coordination, strengthen muscles, and foster both confidence and independence.
Try using a play tunnel! ❤️
💡 crawl through the tunnel to get to the other side.
💡 peek through at the other end or use balls inside the tunnel as encouragement to move through.
💡 place a pillow under the tunnel to encourage climbing up/down or as a cue to rise up onto hands and knees if just learning to crawl.

Our Tots in Action class focuses on developing balance and coordination—two essential skills that help with everyday activities like climbing stairs, navigating obstacles, and mastering gross motor skills such as walking, jumping, skipping and running.
💡 Stepping stones can be used to improve both balance and coordination! You can simply walk across them or use them as part of a game or obstacle course for even more fun and challenge.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate stepping stones is by turning it into a fun freeze dance game.🎶 When the music stops, everyone freezes on a stone—it’s a great way to practice balance while having a blast!
