Our last American Masters Lecture (April 18, 2019) featured acclaimed novelist Colson Whitehead. He spoke in Scranton a few months before his 2019 book The Nickel Boys was published; The Nickel Boys would make Mr. Whitehead one of only four authors to twice win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

On September 14, 2021, Colson's next (and potential 3rd Pulitzer Prize-winning) novel Harlem Shuffle will be published. You may place a hold on the book at https://lackawanna.sparkpa.org/eg/opac/record/11666504.
