From four green fields aboard ships to the west; to the land of the free in the coal mines of sweat; to the steel mills raising the skyline afar, the policeman, the firefighter, the Priest in the war; struggling peacefully we throw in our lot, some return to their homes, yet many have not.
There will be a wreath laying at General Sheridan’s monument at the Lackawanna County Courthouse. corner of Biden and Adams Avenue. The event will take place on Saturday, October 28th at 12:15pm. Also, there will be a reenactor dressed as General Sheridan talking about his life and the military. All are invited to attend.
