Hey everyone. It's been a year since I made the decision to close shop. I have witnessed a lot of changes in and around Saratoga. I've seen 3 different renters at our old location. I see Putnam Market's new café. I hope you love it. Since I have closed, I've noticed a lot of things that would have been challenging for our small business. The price of eggs and coffee. The rise of taxes and rents. Let's face it, the overall cost of society is through the roof. I tried to relocate downtown, but rent was $2000 more in the same square footage that I was already in... and let's be honest, my heart was no longer in it. I was angry. I wasn't the greatest boss, father, or husband anymore. I was angry because I had something taken that was a direct result of being negligent. Now, a year removed, and a lot less angry...I have my CDL A license and am trying to get back on my feet... it's a long hard road, and if I'm being honest, not everyone I love will travel this road with me to its conclusion... and I'm OK with that because not everyone was meant to. If you are an entrepreneur and interested in seeing a brand revival, let me know your vision. It's time for me to move on and entrust this with someone else. I'm ready to see what is possible.
