Your child will remember every time you chose someone else over them.

Every time you dismissed their pain to protect your relationship.
Every time you made them feel less important than keeping a partner happy.

And one day they'll grow up and either repeat that pattern or cut you off completely for failing them when they needed you most.

Partners come and go, but you only get one chance to protect your child. Choose wisely.
