Located in the heart of Schenectady’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood, WIEC has been serving the adult population of Schenectady County for over 50 years. Current class offerings include:
- TASC/GED High School Equivalency Preparation
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Construction Trades Class
- Paraprofessional Training
Many of our programs are offered year-round on an open enrollment basis. We are dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to a second chance at completing their education.

Next Mass Food Distribution event at the Rev Phil Food Pantry will be on Thursday, March 31st. Drive-thru is preferred, but walk-ups will also be served. Line forms at 9AM outside of 839 Albany Street until 11:30 or until supplies last.
