Our annual Warbird and Civilian Fun-Scale Fly-In is coming up fast on Saturday, July 18!

Bring your military aircraft or civilian scale model (Piper Cub, Beaver, Cessna…anything remotely scale looking) for a day of flying, friends and lots of fun. We’ll have our world-famous solar hot dogs at lunchtime and water/sodas throughout the day to keep you hydrated. Open flying starts at 9AM and continues until around 1PM.

• AMA / FAA Required for Pilots
• Other Clubs Welcome
• Food & Refreshments

Mother Nature served up a beautiful…but really blustery day for our annual Summer Fly-In and Open House this morning. But even with the wind, the Propsnappers family enjoyed a great time with flying, good conversation and our famous solar hot dogs! We had a decent turnout that included several guests that came to check out the club and the hobby.

A big thank you to everyone that pitched in to make the day possible!

We rolled the dice by holding our Spring Fly-In in spite of the possibility of sprinkles this morning. In true Maine fashion however, those expected sprinkles turned into full-out rain on and off throughout the event. The Propsnappers persevered, and our club meeting worked out just fine…and we were able to fly between the rain showers with everyone enjoying our time together. Looking forward now to our float-fly on May 16 & 17!
