These are trying times for artists, venues, production workers and all of the foot soldiers responsible for the presentation of music. Now is the time to stick together, we are here for all of you and will do whatever we can to help the cause. 3 days of sessions for Smithsonian Folkways finished in 1.5 days. When the artists, studio and staff are prepared professionals, magic happens quickly.

In the first two days of SMF2015 we are tracking THE Joe Ely, Ruthie Foster, Paul Thorn, The Boxcars, Balsam Range, Buckwheat Zydeco, Shovels and Rope and Shaky Graves. Great music, Grammy statues and International Bluegrass Music awards revolve around these folks. Proud to be doing our 11th year with the SMF.

City Hotel Album mastered and ready for pressing, Anders Thomsen mixed and a Ricky Skaggs remote mixed. Gibson Brothers, Lonesome River and Lau on deck. Big congratulations to Mindi Abair for the Grammy nomination and City Hotel for meeting their Kickstarter goal.

Trainwrecks tracking is wrapped up, The Ray City Rollers and Silversel are heading to the pressing plant, Kota Mundi is in final mix tweaks and we've got Eric Culberson, Huxie Scott, Jimmy Wolling and Rebecca Flaherty tracking some this week. We've been booked 7 days a week for the last 3 months, thank you all!

New AC is being installed just in time for the summer heat! We're currently tracking the face melting Silver Machine, Silversel, The Trainwrecks, Anders Thompsen and some more solo artists. Just wrapped up SMF mixes for Lone Bellow, Tomatito, Pokey LaFarge, Tim O'Brien, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Julian Lage and several more.
