I opened the shop in 2016 and named it Midge after Barbie’s best friend from the 1960s as a nostalgic nod to the past with a sunny step into the future. Known for jeans and T-shirts, Midge is a women’s clothing shop with a classic approach to modern style — curating closet staples that not only complement you, but your lifestyle. Our clothing and accessories can take you from elevated casual to “dolled-up” evening. Midge exclusively sells merchandise made in the United States. We love supporting other small businesses that help our economy and create jobs that also meet important environmental and ethical labor standards. In doing so, we give independent brands — alongside larger national manufacturers that deliver American-made quality — a platform and outlet.
