The old breezeway was “built” by covering up the old sunken slate by laying 2x4’s on their side to to bridge what was about 8’ or 9’ if I remember correctly. The rise in these steps were also relatively low, around 5” so making them extra deep helped to make them super comfortable to use.
This was the first project I used CAMO Fasteners and FastenMaster plugs and I have forever not been able to live without all three of them! These are three products every needs to have in their arsenal
