Look at how tiny Natty was just a few weeks ago! 🥹 Our Washington Nationals team puppy was only three balls tall when he revealed himself to the world last month.

Both fans and the internet alike are smitten with Natty - and we don't blame them.

🐕‍🦺 Natty will be joining the players and the community at various events throughout the next 16 months, as he prepares to become a future .

Our graduate teams know the life-changing impact of a Canine Companions , and many of them pay it forward by becoming volunteers in their communities. 💙💛

Graduates and members of the Kentucky Volunteer Chapter, Tammy and Service Dog Violet, and C**t and Service Dog Wink shared their stories on WAVE Country with Dawne Gee (WAVE-TV).

"I call these dogs magic because it did change C**t's life," says Shannon, C**t's mom.

Along with local volunteers, Tammy and C**t are raising funds through DogFest fundraisers like "Wine and Canines." All funds raised support our mission of placing more expertly trained with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, completely free of charge. 🐕‍🦺✨

Canine Companions KY Volunteer Chapter previews Wine and Canines Dawne Gee welcomes Canine Companions KY Volunteer Chapter to the WAVE Country studio to preview Wine and Canines.

For nearly 15 years, Marianne Ferraro has been a dedicated volunteer with us with the Atlanta Chapter, making a lasting impact through raising, dog sitting, event support and chapter leadership.

From raising future to helping bring events like DogFest and Chip in for Canines to life, Marianne is always ready to lend a hand with a smile.

What she values most is helping others and being part of a team that works together to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories.

“I love the mission,” says Marianne. “I love to see when you hand that leash over, it is so heartwarming. To see what these dogs can do and the independence they bring to their person is just so wonderful. I love dogs like no other.”

It's not uncommon for our instructors to take our in training to beaches or aquariums as a way for them to experience a variety of environments, including exposure to a wide range of sights and smells. And, from the looks of it, they're loving every moment!
