Troop 135 is open to boys and girls ages 11-17. Our year-round program includes outdoor activities like backpacking, snow camping, bike trips, canoeing, car camping, leadership skills and community service projects.

Troop 135 and Troop 58 joined forces for a memorable day on Alcatraz. What began with rain turned into a nice afternoon as we explored the island, learned about its rich and complex history, listened to prison stories and enjoyed the ferry ride across the bay. We finished the trip with lunch at the Ferry Building. (Dec. 21, 2025)

🌲⛺️ Troop 135 Takes on Yosemite! 🐻🏞️

At the end of June, Troop 135 headed into the heart of Yosemite National Park for an unforgettable adventure! As part of their trip, they took on a meaningful service project at Indian Village, helping clean up the site and make needed repairs — leaving it better than they found it. 💪

The scouts camped under the stars, cooked their own meals, and hiked some of the most beautiful trails in the country. Nature didn’t hold back either… they even had a surprise bear encounter (everyone is safe and has a story to tell!).

At our June 2nd meeting, the scouts planted flower seeds in biodegradable planting pots. We were excited to see that most had sprouted in one week. At our June 9th meeting (pictured) the scouts worked together to fill pots with soil and then planted the flower seedlings. They placed the pots in the community garden, which is full of vegetables and flowers. We're excited to see the flowers grow!

The Scouts had a very successful bake sale in front of Lucky today. Lots of delicious treats were sold and our community was generous with their support of our troop.

The scouts went on a 5-mile hike at Annadel State Park, while learning mapping and navigation skills. They had a beautiful view of Lake Ilsanjo, while they enjoyed their lunch.

This past Monday was Troop 135's Court of Honor. Rank advancement, merit badges and other awards were given to scouts and adult leaders. Each patrol performed a funny skit and the night wrapped up with a potluck.
