Dangerous Furnace Install. Mobile and Manufactured homes have different requirements and should be inspected by someone who understands them.

On occasion, I run into a house that I just cannot get under. It's rare, but not completely unheard of. Sometimes I envy those inspectors that regularly get homes with full basements. But... then I wouldn't be living in Sonoma County.

Hmmm... For some reason, I thought electric ranges used electric resistance like a toaster to heat. This one also uses flame. Maybe time to clean the range?

I am not a fan of those plug-in "air fresheners". They actually make the indoor air quality worse by introducing pollutants (I get headaches from them), but from a safety standpoint, some can generate a lot of heat. I removed one from this receptacle outlet to get this image. (707) 528-7010

Inspectors talk about heaters, but most folks have never seen the interior of a furnace heat exchanger. Stresses caused by the repeated heating/cooling of the metal can result in cracks/damage to the heat exchanger, which can allow exhaust gases like carbon monoxide to be introduced into the interior air.
