Hello All,
We received wonderful news from the French Embassy:
“The Consul General of the United States in Paris confirmed that the exemption for the J-1 visa suspension will apply to teachers working in state-supported schools, so it will cover our teachers. We have therefore won our case for the issuance of J1 visas!”
Personally, I am not opening the champagne until our incoming teachers actually have their visas, but it certainly looks promising for having them join us sooner rather than later.
I’m sure we all look forward to welcoming them. In masks. At a social distance. After they quarantine.

Our Online Carnaval Auction is Now Open!!
We are so grateful to our school community and local donors for all the AAAAAmazing auction items we have to offer this year for Carnaval. We are kicking it off this week with the online auction which is NOW OPEN! This year you can also “pre-bid” on some of the items that will be available during the silent and live auction at the February 22 event, so even those who aren’t attending can get in on the goods! We have more auction items coming in daily, so check out the whole catalog and check back before the auction closes! You don’t have to be a member of the school community to bid, so pass it on, your family and neighbors want a chance to get in on these amazing items too!
