Texas Brody
Texas Brody temporarily lost the use of his hind legs due to his vertebrae being fractured when he was thrown to the ground by his previous owner. Thankfully, surgery & physical therapy gave him back the use of his legs. And while one leg drags a bit he's still able to walk, run, and play again. He did however permanently lose control over his bodily functions and will have to wear a belly band fo

Indy passed peacefully with us by his side yesterday 🌈 🐾 💜 He was 13 1/2 years old and has been with us since he was 2 years old. He was a wonderful big brother to Brody and welcomed all of our foster pups over the years. He was the best doggo and will be deeply missed!

Meet 12-year-old Indy as an Inspired by Cooper & Elliott custom pet painting. This love-bug of a guy is the big brother to our sweet friend Texas Brody, who recently journeyed to the rainbow bridge. Today is Indy’s 10th gotcha day with his amazing mom and family. Throughout this past decade he has been a champion big brother to all of the foster pups his family has selflessly prepped for their forever homes. What a blessing he is to these pups, as well as to his humans!! Happy 10th gotcha cutie pie Indy-Roo! www.cooperandelliott.com

Our sweet Brody gained his wings on Monday and we are heavily grieving his loss 💔
We adopted Brody a little over 9yrs ago, after he had his vertebrae fractured by his previous owner for having an accident in the house at just 5mo’s old. His hind legs were temporarily paralyzed but he was left permanently incontinent. Despite everything that he experienced he was the sweetest dog you’d ever meet and he loved everyone!
Brody was a tough little guy who overcame many life threatening obstacles over the past 9yrs but he wasn’t able to overcome this last one on his own. We made the heartbreaking decision to help him crossover and be free of pain. We were by his side and he passed peacefully.
Brody reached the hearts of many people all over the world who followed his story from the beginning. It was through Brody that we made many amazing friends that have become a second family.
My daily schedule happily revolved around caring for my little shadow and I’m struggling to find my balance without him. We had a very special bond and our lives were made fuller with him in it.
Brody loved playing with all of our foster pups over the years, chasing balls, playing with toys, dancing with me, and trying to eat all of the things he wasn’t supposed to! He filled our hearts with infinite love and joy. Brody will forever be in our hearts 💕
