Okay we've lost the plot on wake window activities!!!! When in first had a baby I thought every wake window needed to be spent doing things that were EDUCATIONAL. STIMULATING. ENRICHING. ENTERTAINING. It was lowkey very stressful and I enjoyed absolutely none of it! (Meanwhile your baby is like .5 seconds old and can't even see straight and is like "please get this insane woman out of my face why won't she shut up.") So here are some ACTUALLY chill and enjoyable for BOTH of you wake window ideas that I swear do just as much for your baby's brain as those other things! 🌳stand next to the window and point out the trees you see 🌸go on a color walk where you point out every thing that's one color 🏋️‍♀️exercise in front of them (if that's your thing) 📖 read a magazine or book out loud to them 💃have a dance party in the kitchen 🤪lay them on your lap and just make faces at them 😍turn the ceiling fan on and watch them fall in love 🏞️go to the park and just sit outside 👀go sit in a different room and explain what makes that different 🛁 midday bath with the baby These activities are all SO much more fun than what you think you "have" to do, but are also SO GOOD for that little mushy baby brain!!
