Villa Capri at Varenna

Happy 4th of July from Villa Capri at Varenna! We celebrated America's 250th birthday with a party that included: live music by Bourbon Street Brass Band, a barbecue lunch, sweet treats, and games!

Residents started their day with Tai Chi in the Courtyard. They greeted the sun as it made its way through the fog. Everyone felt energized and excited to learn more movements next class!

Today we enjoyed a relaxing outing to Lavender Bee Farm in Petaluma. We sampled homemade lavender cookies and lemonade while learning about the honey and lavender harvest processes. We had a picnic lunch and took in the view from the property. We stopped at the gift shop for a chance to purchase fresh honey, candles, soaps and lavender sachets before leaving. We can't wait to visit again!

A wonderful time was had at our Baile Folklórico dance performance! Perfect warm weather, delicious chips and guacamole, and margaritas were enjoyed by our residents as they eagerly waited for the performance to begin. When the dancers performed our residents were captivated by the vibrant dresses, rhythmic dancing, and authentic music! We look forward to welcoming this talented group to our community again!
