When our grapes arrive, some of their juice has already escaped. This delinquent liquid is known as free-run juice. It's juice that runs freely from the grapes before they are pressed.
It's juice that just can't be contained. It so badly wants to become wine that it bursts forth from the skin and flows, practically clambers, to the bottle, to the glass, to your lips.
