In the midst of the challenges and anxiety that come with running a business, it's easy to lose hope. The struggle of balancing payroll and expenses can be overwhelming. I've experienced my fair share of losses, especially with the oasis, but I take solace in knowing that Vibe Vegan Bistro is making a positive impact.

We've earned a great reputation with our 5-star reviews and even have customers willing to travel long distances just to dine with us. Yet, there are days when it feels like we're not busy enough to cover our overhead costs. It's a tough game, and I understand that. That's why we're making changes, starting seasonal hours next week to cut down on expenses and make the most of the days we are open.

The weight of it all can be a lot to bear, but then there are those moments that remind me why we started this journey. Today, when I checked the mailbox, I found a beautiful handwritten note from one of our customers. How many restaurant owners can say they have people driving 6 hours just to dine at their establishment? How many receive heartfelt notes and gifts from customers who have been touched by their kindness and dedication?

These are the moments that keep me going, especially during this challenging phase of building something unique in our area. The hugs and the thank yous remind us we are making a difference. But this one ladies gesture is a reminder of how important it is to show gratitude and take the time to express it. You never know when a simple "thank you" or a heartfelt note can give someone that extra boost of energy to keep going.
