CONCERT ALERT!! / GIG ALERT!!!
hi all - Dave Wayne here again w/news regarding a great show that will be happening this SATURDAY (10/18) at The Santa Fe University of Art & Design (SFUAD) formerly 'The College of Santa Fe' at 7PM.
JFJO (featuring Santa Fean Brian Haas) with 20 years and 25 albums under their belt, will be coming to Santa Fe, supporting their new recording "Worker." Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey is currently: Brian Haas on acoustic piano/Fender Rhodes/bass Moog and synth, plus Tulsa, OK legends Chris Combs on electric guitar/lap steel and synth, and Josh Raymer on drums.

Opening for them will be Santa Fe's own müShi Trio, featuring SFUAD faculty Röss Hämlin and Scott Joseph Jarrett, along with Dave Wayne on drums. $10 general admission; free for SFUAD students with ID. Doors open at 7PM.
If you can't make it - Mushi will be returning to SanQ Sushi Southside on 10/25 at 7PM!
I am also playing acoustic straight-ahead jazz with a new group called Ornetc. (Ornette-cetera) with Dan Pearlman on cornet, Lee Steck on vibes, Noah Baumeister on bass. We'll be playing Duel Brewing on 10/24 for free at 7PM. Please stop by and enjoy a delicious beverage (or a world-class reuben sandwich) while you listen to super-cool jazz!
