ThrivingU is a divinely inspired project given to the founder, Ana Garner, in a vivid and detailed vision on April 3, 2014, in response to her question to Spirit, "How can I best serve?". The vision was accompanied by the gift of awakening and healing for Ana. This will be accomplished through spiritually conscious older adults as mentors, who will interact with young adults ages 18-30 (up to 35 i
f veterans) who are looking for learning opportunities in life-skills, as well as awakening to their divine potential. Various life-skills will be taught in hands-on methods, as well as reconnecting to the earth, water, animals and others. The course modules will include ecobuilding, caring for animals, aquaponics, natural healing, cutting edge energy solutions, and applying consciousness to heal the separation from each other and from our planet. About the Founder of ThrivingU: Ana Garner is a mother of 3 grown sons, and has been a practicing attorney representing the "little guy" against institutional parties for over 30 years. When she moved from Albuquerque to Santa Fe in 2010, she was moved by the sight of the many homeless teens and young adults in Santa Fe. ThrivingU was the divine response to how she can help young people like those she has met and fed, and spoken with. ThrivingU is organized as a New Mexico non-profit charitable, educational and research company. Application for 501(c)(3) status is pending. All donations are now tax-deductible. Ana has served on the boards of many nonprofits, including her children's Montessori school in Albuquerque; Vallecitos Mountain Retreat, a wilderness meditation retreat/conference center located in northern New Mexico; New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association; and recently began serving on the Native Hispanic Institute Board.
