In Santa Fe, and around the country, staff have been cut. Donors and volunteers are fatigued. But, yet, there is more work to be done, possibly more than ever, because of these times. Are any of the following keeping you and your staff up at night? Who has the time to get the newsletter or appeal letter out? We've always wanted to do an annual report, but we don't have the time. We need to get ready for accreditation, where do we start? What's happened to our fundraising campaign? Our database is a mess, but we don't have the time to clean it up or get a new one. Stewardship is more than a thank you note on a gift acknowledgement letter! Why isn't the board asking for money or recruiting new members? I dream of better systems. We want to do an event but who has time to manage logistics? Making staff cuts was awful and the work still needs to be done! How can we tackle this now?!?
