Kinetic Poetics Project

he top poets at every slam qualify to compete at the annual KPP festival; a multi-day poetry extravaganza featuring internationally renowned spoken word artists and the very best of the larger UCSC art community. The top poets from the the festival qualify to be on the slam team that will represent UCSC at CUPSI, the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational!!!! More importantly, KPP inspires budding poets to write and share their stories. It brings together a number of different communities to share, create, and appreciate poetry. This acts as an educational medium through which students can learn about the world around them via the perspectives and experiences of their peers.
