Slugbotics will be holding a project showcase in Engineering 2 Room 180 on Thursday 12/04 from 4pm-5pm!

Show up to learn more about what we’ve done this quarter! Eat pizza, ask questions, speak to other robotics-interested students!😁

Consider believing in us at Slugbotics by supporting us tomorrow during Giving Day 2025! All donations will go towards fully funding our projects for the upcoming year.

Throughout the day, various challenges are offered based on the # of donations and not the amount (meaning that every donation big or small counts). Be on the lookout for our posts during those timed challenges!

This past June 2025, The UCSC Slugbotics MATE Team made it to the 2025 MATE ROV World Championship in Alpena, Michigan!🌅

This would not have been possible without the many amazing members that put many hours into this project. This amazing group of people, made it possible for UCSC to attend this competition for the first time in 4 years! ⭐️

This competition experience helped us network with existing and aspiring underwater tech professionals! We learned many ways to improve our team, ourselves, and our ROV. 🌊

Thank you wonderful MATE people for setting up such an incredible learning experience!😊

We will work diligently to attend the 2026 competition in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada! 🇨🇦😄
