As requested this is a follow up to the Everyone Can Back Float Video (linked on screen).
How do you stand upright from your back float? Practice this sequence.
✅ Exhale to sink using your mouth
✅ While looking towards your feet
✅ Let your butt sink into a chair position
✅ While using your arms to push water forward.
✅ Finally, push your feet to the ground and stand up.
The goal of this combination of movements is to shift your body from laying down to standing. In other words, pivot your body 90° from a horizontal position to a vertical position. Essentially reversing everything you did to get into the back float. 🤔 I guess you could say that this video is a “what not to do while you’re back floating” but it’s very effective when you want to stand up!
