Curious: how often do you clean out your center console in your vehicles?

Me: Apparently not often enough, ‘cause I could use a bigger center console even with my organized dividers from Daiso.

I highly recommend that we also become more resourceful in the products we use to help our wallets and Fico Scores stay in better shape while helping the planet.

What’s your silliest chore that has to be done and why?

How do you prep for snow?

Why is it important to have specific spots and immediately put those items there?

One of my credit cards got misplaced in my wagon in North Carolina. I just now finally found it weeks later at the floor part at the very back end section of “Car He$$”. You know the area between the seat and the center console. I just happen to see it there after clean sweeping out my lower, front console, center console storage, the door edge side of car, and even under my mat. Thankfully, I knew it was in my car somewhere hidden and was able to keep tabs on its usage. If I didn’t find it this time, I was going to have to plan a new car being mailed due to no branches nearby and update auto pays from it.

Staying super organized also helps me know what all is missing/stolen should a bad person break into my car.

Lastly, staying organized also can save one time, energy, and effort.

My first husband and I had disagreements over the spots for some items. One of the items was the scissors, which ended up having 2 spots — his choice and the best spot aka where they ended up most of the time. When multiple spots happen, think about how often and why there to lessons the number of places, as needed.

Autumn has arrived and Halloween is just weeks away. Our new little mascot ( Maizy The Traveling Shiba Inu) is getting ready for her first Halloween, which brings us to the topic of Halloween Preparations Just for Little and/or Furry Ones.

Special Halloween Preps for Little Ones/Furry Ones:

1. Start introducing them to Halloween Decorations bit by bit to help lesson any undo stress and all on them - and you.

2. Get kids (and adults, if needed) mentally prepared to wear costumes for the weather there at night vs daytime by discussing the weather signs, changes (I.e. Leaves changing colors), and differences of before and after sunset.

3. Discuss and decide how y'all will celebrate Halloween/October 31st -- even if it's simply enjoying a family movie and game night without any mention or decorations of Halloween aka celebrating the end of October and beginning of November to start prepping for Thanksgiving.

4. Frankly discuss how y'all as a family will handle Trick or Treaters. A special sign on the door could be helpful to avoid unwanted knocks on door whether you don't celebrate Halloween for religious reasons, due to Covid-19/Coronvirus reasons, or have other plans.
