– Quick How-to Tips

Question: how to find the MAC address(physical address) for my device?

Tips:
Make sure the device is in the same local network with your laptop:
1. Open your laptop’s Administrator Command Prompt or Terminal
2. Type in: ping device_ip_address
(if the device’s IP address is 192.168.5.163, then the command that you typed in should be: ping 192.168.5.163)
3. Type in: arp -a
4. The device’s MAC address will display on the screen.
