Apexon Igniteโ€™s Happy Periods mission to promote period positivity covers all sections of society.

Recently, Happy Periods Team introduced the concepts of menstrual wellness and use of sanitary pads to construction site women - the hard-working women who contribute to cityโ€™s skyline. The Happy Periods team and volunteers engaged with the women, distributed menstrual products and cleared the air on menstrual health topics.

Thought the live demonstrations by Geetanjali Sahni, Heli Z Karvat, Payal Dabhi and Kavita Khandhadia, the women learnt how to use pads and take control of their menstrual health with confidence.

๐ŸŒˆ Reflecting on Pride Month at Apexon! ๐ŸŒˆ

This June, Apexon proudly celebrated Pride Month with a series of impactful initiatives aimed at fostering inclusion and allyship within our community.

โœจ Panel Discussion: Allies in Action - Beyond Rainbows & Logos

We hosted an insightful panel discussion, where we explored authentic allyship and the steps we can take to support the LGBTQ+ community in our workplace.

Panel Highlights:

- Ruku Arora's Advocacy: Emphasized the importance of authentic allyship in driving significant change. She shared how allies can champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through everyday actions and create an environment where everyone can feel comfort and thrive in the workplace.

- Jake Hill's Expertise: Serving as Apexon's General Counsel and Co-Chair of the Women of Apexon BERG, Jacob Hill brought extensive knowledge in the legal protections and policies that our company upholds to prevent workplace discrimination.

- Cassi Seifert's Commitment: As a proud ally, Cassi highlighted the importance of having empathy among colleagues. She shared her journey of advocating for the LGBTQ+ community and emphasized the need for allies to stand in solidarity and create inclusive spaces for all.

- Sandhiya, our moderator guided the conversation with compassion and reminding us that there is no single "right" way to be an ally. She encouraged everyone to accept others as they are and to treat people with the kindness and respect, we all wish to receive

One perspective that resonated across the discussion was that allyship is a continuous action, not seasonal. Itโ€™s about the inclusive actions we take every day - to listen, learn, and change. This is just the beginning of many steps toward true inclusion.

๐Ÿ“š Our Apexon Lit Society book club , led by Shawn McCormick and Richard Alvarez, delved into "The Great Believers" by Rebecca Makkai, a poignant novel that sparked meaningful discussions about empathy, history, and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of understanding and supporting each other.

Thank you to all our participants and supporters for making this Pride Month truly special. Together, let's continue to champion inclusion and allyship within our communities.

Join the conversation: How will you contribute to fostering equity at Apexon and beyond? Stay engaged with Apexon's Inclusion journey.๐ŸŒŸ
