Some auto window tinting methods use deposited film. Particles of aluminum, nickel chrome, or copper are deposited onto and adhered to the window film through a chemical process. The end result is a window tint that’s darker and more reflective than dyed film.

Make sure your climate control works when you’re getting your windows tinted. It is recommended you leave your windows up for at least three days after tinting. This will allow the tint to almost completely dry before tampering with the window.
