Because the Orange County School of the Arts is situated in a Downtown environment, our students have access to a greater opportunity for group and individual discovery of Art and Culture; Business and Technology, Civic, Political, and Individual activism. For the Visual Arts Conservatory being walking distance from a vibrant Santa Ana Artist's Village (CSUF Grand Central Art Center, Santora Building of the Arts, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art and many individual galleries and exhibition spaces) gives our program a richer context. We regularly have students use the surrounding environment as source material for their paintings, photography and personal visual expressions.
