The Guardian includes an easy to use and comfortable "nose block" or equalizing block that helps divers equalize as the Guardian FFM does not offer a "pinch to equalize" method. To equalize, the block will rest just below the divers nose. When needing to equalize, simple push the mask upward which lifts the block, closes off the diver's nostrils and the diver blows against the block. It can sound odd to anyone not familiar with the method, but it is very simple, comfortable and becomes second nature after a dive or two.
