Speech and language therapists do so much more than you think! We're grateful to have several on staff who help our kiddos reach their goals. Swipe through for a look at the key area these professionals focus on with kiddos each day. 👂🗣

The slides explain the role of speech-language pathologists in supporting children’s communication, including speech sounds, language understanding, and expressing ideas. Additional slides highlight areas such as following directions, vocabulary, problem-solving, social communication, and relationship-building, as well as fluency, voice, hearing, and feeding skills. Illustrations show clinicians working with children and kids practicing communication. The series ends with a message celebrating speech-language pathologists and their impact.
Did you know goalball is one of the only Paralympic sports created just for athletes with visual impairments? Players rely on hearing, touch, and spatial awareness to throw the ball into rhe opposing team’s goal, while defending their own.
Our Social Society students recently stepped up to the challenge and gave it a try.
Check out our students trying something totally new.
