These men and women are a lifeline to some of our most important front line men/women who require ammo. They get it and ship directly to who needs it and where they need it. Everyone has an important role, what will yours be.

Ammunition specialists (89B) are specialized Soldiers who are responsible for the management of ordnance (ammunition and explosives). They are tasked with receiving, storing and issuing conventional ammunition, guided missiles, large rockets, explosives and other ammunition and explosive related items.

Job Duties
Perform maintenance modification, destruction and demilitarization on ammunition and explosive components
Operate computer hardware and software/utilities manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures
Perform ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties using both automated and manual procedures
Inspect weapon systems to determine need for repair or destruction.

Help me congratulate PFC Rosalinda to the United States Army. She will be attending the Information Technology Specialist (25B) school located at Fort Gordon, GA. Her dedication to work and place studying above all in order to join is amazing. She will be maintaining networks, hardware, and software at a duty station near you soon!!
