Over the last ten years I have been studying the healing modality of Reiki. Reiki is a holistic healing modality based on the principle that the practitioner can channel God/Source energy into the patient by means of touch to activate the natural healing process of the patient’s body and restore physical, emotional, and mental well being. Hello friends!
About a month ago, I unfortunately fell while walking a friend’s dog and broke my shoulder. I’ve since been under the care of an orthopedic doctor, and my healing is being monitored.
At my next follow-up in April, we’ll determine whether I can begin physical therapy or if I will have to have surgery.
Because of this, I’m unable to practice Reiki for the time being. This will be a difficult pause in something I care so deeply about.
