Every flag is unique. Every flag is raised by someone who cares. Each one stands in memory of a veteran, a father, a son, a friend a life that shaped our freedom. The National Guard is a unique and essential part of the U.S. military, fulfilling both state and federal duties. With over 430,000 dedicated civilian soldiers, it serves as a crucial component of the U.S. armed forces. As its domestic responsibilities expand, the National Guard also remains committed to its role in global operations. The Air National Guard, in particular, plays a vital role in military intelligence, undertaking missions in Ukraine and the Middle East with courage and purpose.

Happy Birthday to the National Guard, and thank you for your service!
