I usually just post business related content but now that the is close to ending, I'm reflecting on my progress this year. I've been struggling with chronic migraines for the past three years. After getting COVID all of the treatments I was getting stopped working and it lead to a continuous chronic migraine for 3 months straight. I wasn't able to work and my emotional, physical, mental and financial health were in a bad state. All of this while being a new father lead to a rough period in my life. I weighed the most I ever have at 237 lbs. Luckily my neurologist was able to find a treatment that worked. After not being able to do anything for months I decided it was time to make a change. I now weigh 167 lbs. and am in the best shape of my life. It's never too late to start taking care of your health. If we only do things when we're motivated it will never get done. Progress takes time, and everyone is on their own journey. I'm finally comfortable enough to open up about my struggles. What I have learned this year is that I'm my toughest critic, god never leaves my side and I can do hard things even though some days I don't want to.
