The brown large area near the drain is what I call a tub pond. The tub has sunk in that area so it is holding water and this etches the ceramic. Over time it will get to the metal and start to rust. Although, I can glaze this tub to look like new it will need to be dried after each use.

This tub was previously done by an idiot. They used an angle grinder to remove the old resurfacing or to " clean " it. The circular gouges in the original ceramic is the results. The green is my material where I tried to repair the damage. Also, note the cone of shame from the spout to drain. This brand new construction was dripping so I installed my unpatented solution to finish sh the project.
