Purpose
The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
1. Evangelism/Mission - "To share the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world." Education - "To help members develop toward full Christian maturity and train them for effective ministry
One of Jesus' promises is that we will hear and know His voice and He will lead us. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought all his own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow him because they know his voice. (John 10:2-4). I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
was born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day, He rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
