💥 IDAHO 💥 Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 20 💥 PVP is presenting statewide virtual event Courage In the Face of Fear: Social Justice Elders on the Importance of Speaking Out.

Courage in the Face of Fear will bring together Loretta Ross, Suzanne Pharr, and Shea Howell of the National Council of Elders for a live, moderated conversation about fear, shame, silence, courage, and what it takes to speak and act on behalf of human dignity when doing so feels risky. The event will livestream statewide, with local watch gatherings planned in communities across Idaho, including Sandpoint and Boise.

We are honored to virtually host these Elders, each of whom has decades of experience in social justice, community organizing, human rights education, and movement-building. We're also grateful to the Bonner County Endowment Fund for Human Rights in the Idaho Community Foundation for their generous grant to make this event happen.

Idaho physicians speak to legislators' lack of knowledge and hubris that has implemented--and kept in place--our state's near-total abortion ban despite parents and doctors loudly speaking out, hospitals closing, and numerous providers leaving.

We're thrilled to share that we've received a $4000 grant from the Idaho Humanities Council to support Worth of a Woman: Autonomy, Access, and the Value of Care, a five-stop exhibit tour with related public programming from November 2026-June 2027.

The IHC grant requires us to match their grant dollar-for-dollar, so we're asking you to help us raise another $4000 to make this full series possible. Your support will fund:

Tell your medication abortion story 💊 PVP is partnering with We are a partner Mife Stories Project (mife, short for mifepristone and sounds like ‘jiffy’), a nationwide coalition campaign to gather medication abortion stories to flood the FDA, the media, and the public at this critical moment when attacks on abortion pills are rapidly escalating. Gathering and sharing abortion stories is a direct push back against attempts to erase lived experience from the record and makes sure decision-makers hear from the people who have actually used this care.
