Dear Friends,
The voters have spoken, and I respect their decision wholeheartedly. That is how representative government is supposed to work.
From the beginning, this campaign was about one thing: doing what's right. Not what's popular, not what a faction demands, but what is right — for our families, our community, and our constitution. I am proud of the race we ran and the conversations we had along the way.
The heart of our republic beats strongest at its lowest levels — in precincts, on school boards, in various committees and commissions, and around kitchen tables where neighbors talk honestly about the issues that affect their lives. Federalism was never meant to be a talking point. It is the architecture of freedom, designed to keep power close to the people and far from those who would concentrate it upward. That conviction doesn't change with an election result.
I'm deeply grateful to every volunteer, every donor, and every neighbor who took the time to look past the campaign literature, check the facts, and engage thoughtfully with the issues. That kind of citizenship is what self-governance looks like, and it gives me genuine hope.
Cornel — I wish you well. Represent all of District 1, not just one faction. Be a peacemaker. Bring solutions. The people of North Idaho deserve nothing less.
I will continue in my commitment to this community — through service, through faith, and through honest engagement.
God bless you, and God bless Idaho.

"Why would you want to do this!?!" Some people have asked.
It's about service. It's about putting others above self. It's about perpetuating freedom for future generations.
It's about answering the call. I've answered the call: in service, in combat, in our community.
Will you help me answer the call to serve our great state in the Idaho House?
Please vote Chuck Lowman for Idaho House of Representatives, seat 1B on May 19th!

I'm Chuck Lowman, and I'm running for Idaho House of Representatives, Seat 1B.
Service has defined my life. I am an Eagle Scout and have served as a Christian missionary in eight countries, living out duty to God and Country. After 9/11, I volunteered as an Army Chaplain and deployed four years in combat zones — supporting soldiers through loss, the rigors of military service, and honoring the fallen. After 12 years of service, my wife and I returned to Idaho to raise our family. I've been showing up for this community ever since.
What I do for this community: I am growing a contracting company which contributes meaningfully to our local economy. I serve on the board of trustees for the Bonner County Historical Society and Museum, and Coach High School Track & Field. I also serve in classrooms with children who have significant emotional and behavioral challenges. These kids need consistent, caring adults, and I show up for them because that's what community service looks like.
Defending the Constitution — all of it. I support the deportation of criminal illegal aliens. But the Idaho Freedom Caucus championed bills (HB 659, HB 764) that pursued that goal by directly eroding 1st, 6th, and 10th Amendment protections — the same protections that safeguard your pastors in their ministries, your lawyers in their duties, and your sheriffs in their authority. Enforcing immigration law does not require dismantling the constitutional framework that protects every Idahoan. I will defend our constitutional rights without exception.
Fiscal responsibility that works like a family budget. The Legislature should fully fund constitutionally mandated programs while cutting unnecessary expenses — just as every Idaho family runs their household budget. That is not a radical position. It is the Idaho State Republican Party Platform, and it is my commitment to taxpayers.
Keep Local Government Local. I support the Idaho Sheriff's Association's 1% local option sales tax proposal because local governments should have the authority — and the funding — to make local decisions. The Bonner County Republican Central Committee has lobbied against local fire district tax levies, directly contributing to reduced fire district ratings and causing many Bonner County residents to lose their homeowners insurance. That is not conservatism. That is ideology that harms the very people it claims to protect.
True Republican values. My positions align with the Idaho Republican Party Platform on every point that has been disputed. Those quickest to call others RINOs would do well to examine whether their own positions hold up to that same standard. I'll let voters make that comparison.
Now is the time to give to my campaign. $100 up to $1000 or any amount in between will help reach voters who can help make this change. I have new yard-signs ready to go out as well. Let me know if you would like one!
I would love to talk with you over the phone, or email is just fine as well. I can be reached at 208-494-2084 or [email protected].
Kind Regards,
Chuck Lowman
