We are thrilled to celebrate Jim and Virginia Wood (Janice’s wonderful parents), who were honored to be selected as the Grand Marshals for this year's Sandpoint 4th of July Parade! Making the occasion even more monumental, they led the procession in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

At 97 and 98 years young, Jim and Virginia had a blast waving to the crowds and taking in the sights of downtown Sandpoint from the best seats in the house.

A massive thank you goes out to Mike Nagel and his incredible team of parade-pro Belgian horses for providing such a spectacular ride.

​Did you know? When Mike isn't driving his beautiful Belgians down Main Street in July, he’s guiding our horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snow during the winter months!
