Idaho Department of Insurance Urges Medicare Beneficiaries to Review Plans During Open Enrollment • Press Release • Idaho Department of Insurance Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7, 2025, and the Idaho Department of Insurance (DOI) is advising Medicare beneficiaries to carefully review their options this year.

If you recently received a letter from YHI stating that your application for the 2022 tax credit is incomplete, but you already completed the process and are waiting to hear back, no action is needed. You do NOT need to complete another application.

You will be notified once your tax credit is approved, and it will automatically apply to your enrollment. YHI will ensure every application that is submitted by the Dec. 15 deadline has coverage effective Jan. 1, 2022, and any eligible tax credits are applied.
