Making sure you are winter-ready is a process here. From changing over tires to making sure you have a plan for snow removal, don't forget to make sure your home is ready too.
Winterizing Checklist:
-maintaining heating system (s), whether furnace/wood/hydronic
-checking/cleaning gutters
-protecting exposed pipes
-checking the operation of/maintaining snow removal equipment
-check for gaps/cold places and insulate/seal as needed
-get some ice melt and put a shovel near doors to make it easy to prevent slips
