Salary: $111k-$141k

Medical premium – District currently contributes 92% of 2nd highest Region 1 Basic plan offered by CalPERS for employee and eligible dependents

Dental, Vision, and EAP- District pays 100% for employee and eligible dependents

Life insurance- District pays 100% for employee

Vacation – 10 hours a month (increases with years of service).
Sick Leave – 8 hours a month

April is Earthquake Preparedness Month. Take a few extra steps now that can make all the difference when it matters most.

Secure top-heavy furniture like bookcases, dressers, and TVs to wall studs to prevent tipping. Move heavier items to lower shelves and keep breakables secured or out of high-traffic areas.

Build or refresh your emergency kit. Include water (one gallon per person per day), non-perishable food, a flashlight, extra batteries, a first aid kit, medications, a portable phone charger, and copies of important documents. Don’t forget supplies for pets.

Create a family emergency plan so everyone knows what to do. Identify safe spots in each room, choose a meeting location if you’re separated, and establish an out-of-area contact. Practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” so it becomes second nature.
