Telehealth can offer a convenient and secure way to speak to one of our counselors or medical providers without leaving home. Telehealth is especially helpful for individuals that live in rural areas, have transportation constraints or busy work and family lives. Marin Treatment Center is a State of California licensed substance abuse service provider, certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are a community based non-profit outpatient clinic and have been providing effective, affordable and quality outpatient substance use treatment services since 1976. We specialize in Opioid Addiction and provide Medication Assisted Treatment in a harm reduction setting and we provide outpatient mental health services. Marin Treatment Center is a medical model community outpatient clinic. Our skilled team of doctors, nurses, and therapist work together to provide individualized treatment that will meet the unique needs of each client. We ally with substance use disorder programs and detox centers, mental health agencies, individual practitioners, community clinics, physician and physician groups, and hospital emergency departments to provide comprehensive and cost effective medication assisted treatment for opioid withdrawal stabilization and opioid maintenance treatment services. MEDICATION ASSISTED PROGRAMS
The Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) states that Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) is often a chronic illness requiring ongoing communication among patients and providers to assure that patients fully benefit from both pharmacotherapy and psychosocial treatment and support. “Supportive counseling environments for clients who take OUD medication can promote treatment and help build recovery foundations”. Outpatient Methadone Maintenance
The outpatient Methadone Maintenance Program is a longer term medication assisted treatment program using methadone. Marin Treatment Center uses State and Federal regulations and guidelines to manage its program. Patients must meet specific admission criteria for admission by either having a documented history of opioid use disorder treatment for the last 12-months, be pregnant and op**te dependent, or have a life threatening condition and op**te addicted. This program is designed for patients that have stabilized from opioid withdrawal and are seeking longer term medication assisted treatment combined with counseling therapy for addiction. Outpatient Buprenorphine Maintenance
The outpatient Buprenorphine Maintenance Program is an alternative medication assisted treatment program available to people diagnosed with opioid use disorders. Buprenorphine is well suited for those who do not qualify for our methadone maintenance program or have more mild to moderate addiction severity. The outpatient Buprenorphine Maintenance Program also offers individual and group counseling therapy for addiction. Pain and Addiction
Pain and opioid addiction can be complex, as not all patients prescribed opioid pain medications are diagnosed with an Opioid Use Disorder diagnosis. Marin Treatment Center can only treat patients who have an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) diagnosis. In many cases, and often, pain patients can have an opioid use disorder diagnosis concurrently. Our medical and clinical staff can assess you and can properly diagnose your medical condition. We will work with primary care doctors and medical providers to help make a determination and find effective treatment solutions, so that you can manage both your pain and addiction more comfortably.
