Recently at the Dharma Trading Store, some resourceful crafters took advantage of the free art supplies drifting down from the trees.
These are some glimpses from our Leaf Print on Wool Class, 11/9/25 at Dharma Trading Store in San Rafael. Participants created beautiful wool scarves in this workshop led by educator and natural dyer Lisa Rogers. Local foraged leaves were used with Dharma’s Climate Beneficial Verified wool scarf made in the USA(product ). While the works of art simmered away in process, discussion of local dyes and techniques like leaf pounding were explored.

Lisa Rogers is the creator and owner of SlowDigz. She worked as a science and garden educator and began following a creative path with natural dyeing. Through decades of reading, workshops and a lot of experimentation, she aims to create functional, fun, one of a kind pieces, hand dyed or printed using botanicals.
