Aquatic and Terresterial Local Assessments and Solutions. Since 2012, Atlas Environmental has been on contract with the City of San Marcos Habitat Conservation Plan, restoring the San Marcos River to its native state. Atlas Environmental removes invasive sucker mouth catfish and Tilapia, as well as Giant Ramshorn and Red Rimmed Melania Snails. As of November 2016, Atlas Environmental is the contractor for underwater litter removal in the upper San Marcos River.
